Hey Spookies! Today we're going to chat about what is quite literally the best eyeliner I've ever used. Ever. With no exaggeration. It's the 'Pro Liquid Eyeliner' and 'Chick Flick Eyeliner', only £1 by Makeup Gallery, found in Poundland, and has no flaws or faults at all. I absolutely adore it. I've been wearing eyeliner for around 10 years and this is by far the most amazing eyeliner I've ever graced my eyelids with!
When I first saw this eyeliner being praised in vegan beauty groups on Facebook, I must admit I was sceptical. Young teen Kiah had experienced the burning and stinging sensation of many a cheaper eyeliner, so I wasn't sure I wanted to go down that route again. However, my tried and trusted brand of many years was neither-cruelty free or vegan, and I was yet to find the perfect vegan eyeliner, so off I popped to Poundland to try some.
Makeup Gallery eyeliner comes in a few different shades. I've managed to get hold of black, grey, brown, gold glitter, and silver glitter. I'm sure I've seen a blue somewhere, but I could be making that up entirely.
These eyeliners apply super precisely, thanks to the ‘tiny paintbrush’ style applicator, which I am a massive fan of. I’m firmly in the tiny paintbrush camp, and find applying eyeliner with the felt-tip style applicator pretty impossible. A vegan friendly, deep black eyeliner with a lil’ paintbrush? Winner.
The black is a deep, true, dark black, and the brown and grey are also wonderfully pigmented, and none apply streaky or need layering up. They apply smoothly and last all day. Nothing can budge this eyeliner. It’s absolutely marvellous. It doesn’t crack either, which is usually an endless battle with eyeliner for me. I’m completely thrilled with this eyeliner, as it has absolutely no flaws.
I've only had opportunity to swatch the gold and silver glitters so far, but I'm sold on those too. The gold is definitely superior, and applies thicker and sparklier with one swipe. The silver seems to have a thinner brush and needs building up a lot more to get a good sparkle, but is still brilliant with a little effort.
At just £1, this eyeliner is a steal. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I certainly do not foresee myself using any other brand any time soon. I’m looking forward to trying out the gold glitter and possibly some other colours that I’ve seen other people post about, if they come in stock in my local shop. Finding a liquid liner that works for you makes a huge difference to the whole experience of doing your makeup, and I’m so glad I’ve found this one! What’s your go-to liquid liner?
