Hey Spookies! I’m back with another food review, to hopefully make the quest for good vegan food easier. I’ve tried out Brewdog twice now, and honestly didn’t have that great of an experience either time, unfortunately.

Hi Spookies! I wanted to talk about what it's like to struggle with heavy periods, as it can be completely debilitating and yet it's something society pressures us to not talk about. Going to say now that this post will contain very graphic talk about periods and associated symptoms so if that's not for you, I'd stop reading now.

Hey Spookies! It's finally less than 100 days until Halloween, so naturally, I'm excited already! I spend most of the year daydreaming about the most magical time of year, especially over the dreaded summer months, so knowing it's finally drawing nearer has me desperate for the month of spookiness to finally arrive. But what's so great about Halloween? I could go on all day, but I won't, don't worry!

Hey Spookies! Part of #CarnLIVal was an amazing raffle, and I'm pretty sure I won the candle of dreams. I am fairly certain I've fallen in love with a candle. It's just perfect in every way. So thank you, Wax and Wick Workshop* for gracing this planet with the most wonderful candle to ever exist.

Hey Spookies! About that secret activity after #CarnLIVal…it was an escape room! Knowing how much Katy and Sam love escape rooms, I had a sneaking suspicion and was so freaking jazzed to discover I was correct! Breakout Liverpool were our marvellous hosts and it was so much fun!

Hey Spookies! This post is going to contain discussion of menstruation, health problems, diet and medication. Somewhat stupidly, I decided to delve into the replies to Halsey's response to that awful tweet proclaiming that birth control isn't healthcare. She talked about symptoms she experiences with menstruation and how birth control helped that, and yet the replies were full of people insisting hormonal conraceptives weren't necessary. Among those, were people actually insisting that veganism can cure menstrual cramps. Seriously. This really, really, really grinds my gears.
This is just a handful of the medications I rely on to live a normal life or to, you know, not die.

Hey Spookies! If you've been following my blog or my twitter account you'd know I've been especially unwell this month. This has led to a lot of time trying to rest whilst fending off boredom, so I've taken the opportunity to get cosy and watch a few horror films I'd wanted to see for a while.
