Hey Spookies! Freddie and I have been sorting the flat out recently, and having a major clear out. We've been getting decorations and trinkets out of storage and finally finding time to make the flat more homely. It's been nearly a year since we moved in, so putting the place together was long overdue to say the least! Of course, that means I've been hunting online for more bits that would look gorgeous in our flat, and I've made a lil' wishlist of my favourite bits.
Freddie and I both decided that putting a couple of bold cushions on our sofa would brighten up the area, and we both fell in love with these immidiately. Freddie loves film, I love horror, so these cushions are a match made in heaven. Or hell.
How cute would this look with makeup brushes, pens, or a plant in it? He'd look marvelous on my desk or in my makeup shelves, with the added bonus of being able to recreate scenes from Hamlet whenever you please, if you're inclined to do so. A win-win, really.
The person who makes these designs is frankly a genius. Even if guinea pigs aren't your thing, I'd thoroughly reccomend having a look through their designs because they are all brilliant and hilarious. There's a few horror film designs but this one is by far my favourite. He's mudering the carrot!
Genius shop name aside, this blanket is adorable. It's no secret that I love whimsical, old fashioned Halloweeny things, and this duvet is no exception. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be spending that much on a blanket any time soon (not to say I don't value the skill and hard work), so I can only dream of patchwork pumpkin snuggliness for now.
I'm definitely in need of somewhere to store my abundance of crystals, candles, cards, and other witchy items. Trying to keep everything neatly arranged inside and on top of my drawers is proving difficult. This would be absolutely ideal for my spiritual storage needs!
I have a plethora of tealights and love all things spooky so this would be absolutely perfect for me. That said, as much as Freddie humours and vaguely shares my love of spookiness, he totally vetoes anything coffin shaped. His opinion on coffins is, and I quote 'it's like inviting death to walk through the door'. This one is only tiny though, so maybe I'll persuade him eventually...
I realise now that 5 of 6 items are from Etsy, but they're all different sellers and it's a great place to find things more unusual, so my internet shopping often leads me there. Hopefully when the flat is totally tidy and sorted and how we like it, I can show you some highlights and favourite bits!
