Hello Spookies! You may have noticed (due to me refusing to shut up about it) that I was lucky enough to win a treatment at the Lush Spa in Liverpool. I chose to have The Sound Bath treatment, and it was ah-ma-zing. You can read all about the experience here. That post does contain spoilers and photos about The Lush Spa, and I know some people love the mystery around it, so you have been warned! This post however, is Spa spoiler free! They were super kind and generous and gave me a wonderful goody bag after my treatment, packed with exciting products which I'm thrilled about!
I was so happy that they'd put a full-size Ultrabland Facial Cleanser* in there, as I've used sample sized pots before and loved it, but never had chance to see if it was good for my skin long-term. I'm incredibly jazzed to try this out as I've heard wonderful things, and I'm desperate to get rid of my spots which have kindly made a late appearance at 20 years old. I've been using it for just over a week and it seems to be working so fingers crossed!
The Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask* is probably one of my favourite Lush products! Again, I'd only ever tried the sample pots, so I'm so glad I've got a big ol' pot to use that'll last me ages. It smells divine and makes my face feel ultra-soft and it's just a lovely way to pamper yourself. In conclusion, I love it.
Santa's Lip Scrub is fabulous! It's quickly become part of my daily routine, so I'll definitely be buying more before they stop selling after Christmas. I hardly ever get thirsty, so I'm really bad at remembering to drink enough and so always end up with yucky dead skin on my mouth, so this is perfect for making sure my lips are smooth and icky-free before putting my lipstick on of a morning. It's so cute and fun, and after accidentally eating a fair amount of it before getting the hang of using a lip scrub, I can tell you it tastes lovely too!
I think this Confident Liquid Lipstick* was a really nice thing to add, and I honestly got a little sentimental over it as I came out of the treatment feeling really confident for a change. I'm usually someone who struggles a lot with self-confidence, but after the treatment didn't really care that my hair and makeup weren't perfect, and that was a big deal for me. Anyway, I'll stop being sappy. It's a gorgeous, kind of earthy, purple-y, brown-y reddish shade (great description there, Kiah, 10/10) and is perfect for the winter.
I'm really curious about the Boom! Gunpowder Toothy Tabs* as I think tablet toothpaste is a really interesting idea. The taste sounds strange and not something I'd usually go for but they smell really nice. I'll only try these a couple of times but then they'll have to be Freddie's (or kept for travelling) as I usually have to use prescription toothpaste because my teeth are a bit pathetic.
I'm looking forward to using the Bar Humbug Bubble Bar* as it smells so lovely! It smells really calming and just so nice. I'm useless at describing smells but the packet says tarragon and fennel so let's go with that! I really need a relax but I can't find the time so I'll definitely appreciate this when I get to use it.
The Experimenter Bath Bomb is something I've been desperate to try for so long. I'm seriously jazzed about getting to use this! I had my first delve into the world of Lush bath bombs when I tried Lord of Misrule recently and I've definitely got the bug!
I love Lush Fun* - it's exactly what it says on the packet: fun. It's versatile and quick to use and great for so many different things, so when I spotted some Snakes and Ladders Fun in my bag I was really happy. Freddie was pretty excited too, as I'd used a lot of his last bar of Fun so he wanted to get some more too!
They really kindly added in The Night Before Christmas Gift Set* as the music paused for around a millisecond during my treatment, which was so generous and kind of them. This has in it the Intergalactic Bath Bomb and Snow Angel Bath Melt, both of which I'm really looking forward to trying. I know Intergalactic is a favourite so it's been on my list of bath bombs to try for a while and the Snow Angel Bath Melt sounds just really nice and gentle and peaceful.
Lush were so so generous to me and so lovely and they really do go the extra mile in every possible way so I'd 100% recommend giving them a visit - spa or shop!
