#NWmeet Part 2 - What's in the Gift Bags?

As if #NWmeet wasn't wonderful enough (you can read all about it here) - we were all lucky enough to be given the most amazing gift bags full of treasure and loveliness. If you're a wee bit nosey like me and want to see exactly what was in them then this is the post for you!

Everything was given to us in these adorable bags from Tailored Chocolates and Gifts - the little sun is so cute and the personalisation is just lovely. You can find The Recovery Bag Project here.

In terms of ultra-yummy food & drink, we were given a bag of Propercorn, coffee from Hope & Glory, and a little peppermint tea-bag from We Are Tea. We were also given organic chocolate from Green & Black's, a paleo energy bar from The Primal Pantry, Blk. water, and Just Bee water, but that's all been devoured already (oops!).

I was given these wonderful samples from Lush, who came to talk us through their 'Validation Facial' and tell us about their products. The samples I got were '9 to 5 Cleanser', 'Ultrabland', 'Celestial', and 'Mask of Magnaminty'. I am very excited to have a little pamper session and try these out!

Shared Earth gave us incense and an incense burner which I'm very excited about - I adore incense and I'm a fan of Shared Earth already - they sell the most wonderful jewelry and homewares! I also received White Ginger Whipped Body Crème from Salt of the Earth which I'm looking forward to using.

Manuka Doctor gave us samples of Skin Treatment Serum, Rejuvenating Face Mask, and Targeted Wrinkle Filler (not pictured as I gave it to my mum). I'm looking forward to trying these as bee venom as skincare sounds incredibly interesting but I'm also a bit nervous - I'm allergy prone with sensitive skin so this could be disastrous! I was also given a tube of Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy - something I'll definitely be reaching for in the winter months as I get very dry, cracked skin around my fingertips. Something I was over the moon about was this Alpha - H Balancing Cleanser as I adore their Liquid Gold anyway! An even more intriguing sample we were given was this Egyptian Magic 'All Purpose' Skin Cream. I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to use it for yet - the packet says that it's based on a formula of a legendary balm used by sages, mystics, and healers of Ancient Egypt. It also refers to the reader as 'Precious One'. I'm definitely rather curious about this!

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I am obsessed with Halloween and all things spooky. My twitter and instagram name (@spookykiah) are a bit of a dead giveaway too. Get it? Ha ha. Anyway, imagine my joy upon discovering these Hoobynoo World Halloween-themed Nail Transfers! I can not wait to try these. Or force my mum into doing them for me as I am magnificently atrocious at doing nails. Equally exciting are these Wildflower Seeds from Wildflower Favours. I'll have to suss out when the best time of year to plant them is as I'm not sure planting them as the weather gets colder is the right idea. Freddie's dad is a horticulturalist so he'll know.

Jones + Jones gave us these adorable little mirrors - something which I am in dire need of (the selfie camera doesn't always cut it!). I got this Bee Good Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser and Muslin Cloth set - I've heard propolis is magical for sensitive skin so I'll definitely be using this ASAP. As my hair is in serious need of a little TLC, I'll be trying this Napura Conditioner Mask sample sooner rather than later. Something I'm desperate to use, but I'm saving for a day where I can have a lovely bath before getting into bed with fresh sheets (perfect), is this Le Couvent des Minimes Lavender and Acacia Pillow Mist. It always takes me forever to fall asleep and I'm prone to lying awake worrying about anything imaginable so any help with that is much appreciated!

I'm a total stationary hoarder, and notebooks are my weakness, so I'm totally in love with these Caroline Gardner notebooks which will be used for work, university, and to fuel my list-making habit. This personalised pencil from Pobble and Ping is equally adorable, and a very welcome addition to my pencil case, although I'm not sure if I should use it or keep it! How cute is this little pineapple candle from Rose and Grey?! It's so dinky and sweet! I love the glass dome too. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, only a tad more tropical!

This W7 Cosmetics Full Colour Lipstick in 'Sandpiper' is totally bold and bright and wonderful and something I'll definitely be wearing lots of. Equally bold and lovely is the Kiss Cosmetics Lip Vinyl. I love bold pink lip shades and these are definitely a perfect match for me! I was really jazzed about this teeny keyring Tangle Angel as I have the regular sized one and use it every day so I think this little guy will soon be a handbag staple of mine. I also received this Le Couvent des Minimes Hiker's Foot Healer which I'll save for a pampering session. I was delighted when I saw we'd been given Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara - I was given Tarte clay eyeshadows as a gift a while ago and love them so much, but Tarte products are a little out of my price range. I just drooled over their instagram a lot. But yay! Another Tarte product of my very own - and one I adore after a first little try.
At this point, I have a shocking confession. I wash my hair every single day. I know it's bad and I should stop but I can't. So I'm really hoping this Phil Smith Dry Shampoo might be my saviour. I'll try to wean myself off but it's haaaarddd!

Woo, nail stuff! I got these emery boards from UBU, along with nail varnishes from Smith and Cult, Morgan Taylor, and ORLY. The Smith and Cult shade isn't one I'd usually go for, but looks amazing and very autumnal on! I'm most excited about this Flexible Colour from ORLY - as I've mentioned, I'm useless at nails so perhaps this is exactly what I need!

I am SO EXCITED about this Rocket & Rye carnival letter light. I've wanted one since forever but they've always been way too big and way too expensive. This is perfect for my little university flat. I love it. Enough said.

There were a few other bits and bobs that aren't pictured as I'd given them to my mum or put them away already. I was also lucky enough to win a beautiful Vendula London bag in the raffle and a Pulsaderm Buddy on Twitter, but that's for another time. I've waffled on far too long already!
